Plan:
For this assignment I wanted to take pictures of a deck of cards and then edit the joker card into it from batman the animated series.
Shoot:
For this shoot I spread out a bunch of card and overlapped them and placed them how I wanted them I then made one centered and straight up to later replace with the joker card.
Edit:
For this edit I wanted to make the whole photo black and white and make the joker card stand out so I put the original photo into lightroom and made it black and white then cropped out the joker card and overlapped it with the original card.
For this assignment I wanted to put the joker card in with a bunch of normal playing cards. I then took the photo and put it into light room I wanted to make all the other cards black and white to make the joker card stand out. I also wanted to make the texture of the table stand out as long with the texture of the playing cards. After I picked what filter I wanted I then moved the edited photo into photo shop. I found the joker card that I wanted and placed that into photo shop as well. I then cropped it out and placed it over the card and fitted it to make it look like it belongs. I think that this photo turned out exactly how I imagined and am super exited that this is the photo that I finished my photography career with. The hardest part was matting because I had to customize it to fit the photo. And that was challenging. The best part was editing when I was picking out the filters for the black and white for the original photo I could see it all coming together which is always amazing. I am happy with the joker card it looks fake but in a good way and will definitely catch your eye when you walk by. The final matted product looks amazing and the white of the joker card really stands out against the darker whiteness of the other playing cards. This was a fun one to do and I am happy with the final product.
